Archaeological Survey of India

Nagpur Circle of the Archaeological Survey of India is a newly created Circle office with its Head-Quarter at Nagpur. The Circle has been carved out after bifurcating Aurangabad Circle to look after archaeological activities in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, covering 11 districts namely Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Yavatmal, Washim and Wardha.
